This is Why

IMPROVING WILD SHEEP NUMBERS

MONTANA WSF PROJECTS

We are dedicated to wild sheep research, education and conservation. We focus on youth education, to teach the responsibility of conservation and education to keep wild sheep on the mountain.

In the last 10 years, we have spent nearly $250k on wild sheep research, conservation and education.

Why our members joined . . .

As a rancher, I am a natural conservationist.  Being a good steward of our land and resources has taught me a lot about issues I never really considered as a “townie.”  My husband, also a member & 4th generation Gallatin Valley rancher, has graciously taught me about our responsibilities as landowners and citizens.

Donna L Morgan, Montana WSF Life Member since 2005

I drew a ram permit in unit 680 in 2001, so it is my way to thank the Montana Chapter for putting sheep on the mountain (i.e., Missouri Breaks!)

Rich McDrew, Montana WSF Life Member since 2000

I like knowing I am helping to fund research and to put & keep sheep on the mountains.

Patrick Byrne, Montana WSF Member since 2010; Life Member since 2014
